Moto Business Service Nigeria Ltd (“MBSN”, “the Company”, “us”, “we”, “our”) of Block 91, Plot 11A, Aliu Animashaun Avenue, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos values your right of privacy and wants to ensure your safety while visiting this website.

We provide vehicle-leasing services to corporate organizations in the mobility service business (“Service”). Our operations are currently in Nigeria but we intend to expand to other African countries soon. In order to achieve our goal as a company, we consider it important to know about our visitors or customers (“you”). Through the process of learning more about you, a key issue for us is to respect and reliably secure your privacy in order to fulfil our social responsibilities through fair and faithful business activities. We endeavour to protect your privacy by conducting lawful, fair, and transparent processing through ensuring accuracy, integrity, and recency of personal data, and by taking appropriate security measures among other means under this “MBSN Privacy Policy” (this “Privacy Policy”), laws and regulations regarding personal data protection.

This Policy governs the use of our website by you and other stakeholders unless otherwise agreed through written contract.  You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, provided that we do not have another legal basis to keep processing your Personal Data.

The revised version will be effective 7-days after publication. Some of the safeguards we use are firewalls and data encryption, physical access controls to our data centers and information access authorization controls.

MBSN is based in Nigeria and the information we collect is governed by the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023 (NDPA) and regulations made pursuant to the NDPA, the Nigeria Data Protection Regulations, 2019  (NDPR) and its Implementation framework including guidelines made pursuant to the NDPR; any regulations or guidelines made by a specific industry regulator as it relates to data protection (“Applicable Laws”).By accessing or using the Services or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to Nigeria [and other countries].

Personal information may be shared by MBSN on an international basis with its parent company (“Yamaha Motor Company, Japan”), other subsidiaries and affiliates and such information may be further shared between internal product groups.

We may also share your personal information with third parties either at your expressed direction, such as when you request that we have a dealer contact with you or you authorize sharing of your personal information with a third-party business partner. MBSN shall not be responsible, in any manner whatsoever, for the handling of such information by these third parties who are responsible for their own privacy policies that would govern such collection, use and handling of this information.

From time to time, we may send you relevant information such as news items, statutorily mandated notices and any other essential information to aid the implementation of our business. We may also share your personal information in compliance with National or international laws; crime prevention and risk management agencies and service providers.

In the event of a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to Personal Data, Moto Business Service Nigeria Ltd shall within 72 (Seventy-Two) hours of having knowledge of such breach report the details of the breach to the Commission.

Furthermore, where we ascertain that such breach is detrimental to your rights and freedoms in relation to your Personal Data, we shall within 7 (Seven) days of having knowledge of the occurrence of such breach take steps to inform you of the breach incident, the risk to your rights and freedoms resulting from such breach and any course of action to remedy said breach.
